lol. Thats exactly how they really are though. Even if there kids set my car on fire they would just give em a smack and thats it.

Her areas a bit hard to hide the car in another street she lives off a wide long road which has streets running down from it. Car cover could work.

Just annoying that I have to spend extra money and effort to prevent them.

My sisters cars not much safer than mine its just a few metres ahead, so swapping places wont do much for me. They've squashed icecream and left biscuits on her car and they've told them off but they just dont listen.

I'm gonna give em one more chance though. Will start taking a few photos of the damage after work today. I'll try convince my sister than police is the best option also :)

From the history u know of the little shits damaging your sister's car and now your own, I admire u for giving them another chance, but they don't deserve it. Yeh u might have to spend a little to protect your car by some means or the effort to simply

find a suitable place to park it at (maybe you've got a friend who lives nearby, ask to park your car there, or outside their place?) but your car is no doubt worth the effort and any less stress u could save you and sister from would no doubt go a long way in my opinion ;)

Hope we all helped somewhat, all the best.

Easy if they are going near the car just mix together some Vaseline and the hottest chilli product u can find I guarantee they will do it one more time and that's it, also make sure to remove it after that u will be impossible to blame, stupid kids ,( I wouldve said sit out the front with a 22 and take pot shots but that may be ott lol

we have to grab there hands loose and drop them back onto the road. They wont let go no matter how fast we go.

^ 1 problem with 3 easy solutions.

1: Use pliers when grabbing their hands loose. That or a set of tin snips will suffice.

2: Does your work car reach speeds over 200km/h? It's hard holding on at those kinds of speeds.

3: Let them hang off the car for a few kilometers, hope they have a good sense of direction.

LOL, Mohsen u got a few good solutions.

My sisters thinking of moving because she doesnt want her baby growing up being friends with the 2 rats. Its just hard for her because shes just done major renovations making a room for the baby and re arranging the house for when it comes.

Would love to cut there fingers off when they hang onto the side mirror or napalm there house, Chilli and vaseline would work to :D. Could also give them lollies (sleeping pills) everyday.

I parked furthur up the driveway with my sisters car behind mine and she said they didnt notice my car there. So i'll keep parking there till they notice for now.

The only downside if I call police or child services is that they know it was us who dobbed them in, And if somehow they end up back in jail they can just tell one of there friends she lives next door. My sister made the mistake of being nice to them when she bought the house and they became friends before they had there little shits.

There around 2 and 4 years old now. How old are kids usually like this lol.

...

Personally, I would be spewing and wouldn't take that from some ratty kids or their drugged parents, however a more peaceful approach would be:

a brief word sooner rather the later to them saying ur kids have damaged my car, I dont want to get authorities involved in this instance and I wont ask you to fix it THIS time, but I am taking daily evidence with a camera showing any extra damage to the car and if this happens again I will be asking for you to pay the damage as well as reporting it to police....

I know your not trying to cause a fuss, but this is your car and you worked hard for it and you dont want someone else vandalizing it.. you gotta get that testosterone flowing sometimes :pirate::rant:

gl.

That's the approach I took when two of my cars were vandalised. I went to the police station and reported who I believed had done it, the police officer offered to come around and talk to them but I said I'd do it instead. That way I had something in writing if it happened again. After talking to the kids nothing further happened. Whether the police officer said something without me knowing I'm not sure. They were known to police as the kids would throw wild parties maybe 3 times per week on average, all underage drinking, graffiting all the fences up and down my street and the school a couple of doors down, setting people's front yards on fire. They still live there but it's all quietened down in the last 6 months.

they are scum, burn their friggin house down dude , then they will have to move..

Bar that make their lives a misery, call police child prtection your council anyone you can think of to make their life hell, make up stuff about them if you have to, but its alot of effort when you could just burn their house down..Which is what they will probably do yo you if they find out you been dobbing on them..

No point calling police unless for insurance purposes. Even if you saw the kids doing the damage, they are under 10 so can't be prosecuted.

I would definitely park somewhere else and tell your sister to move. They will only get worse and eventually their house will be the meeting point for all the local scum.

Electric fence and some land mines problem solved :D Just seen mouth marks on my windows driving home tonight. Might give my windows a thick wipe with metho and not wipe it off whistling.gif

lol wat the f**k. mouth marks?

They were kissing your car obviously, or they thought it was a massive lolly..

Metho MIGHT work, other than the fact that they evaporate completely in a matter of minutes..

But the vaseline+capsaicin idea would work pretty well, in fact, any oil that coats thinly and evenly would work, then the kids rub their eyes, would be fun times... you might feel like killing them, but violence is not the answer...

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
