engine number where is it

Guys trying to find the engine number in my r32 5o see if its the original but cant find it anywhere have heard imports dont have any is this true , thought they would have to put it on for compliance ???????????????????

AHHAhaHA every car has an engine number.

Try this.

Look down the left hand side of your motor. Get sum light and look near the rear of the firewall area. U might want some sand paper or sumthing to scrap the crap off it. Its on a flat bit of the engine.

RB26 have it under the plenum, right behind where the lower radiator hose enters the block.

use Chalk to highlight the numbers.
