Nah wasnt me man, mines been off the road for the last few weeks. Had to fix a broken wheel stud and now im waiting for a set of brake pads to come in (hopefully will be here monday).

I havnt seen any R33's in Tbar that look like mine, mines pretty easy to pick,.Has black personalised plates "NIX250", chrome 18's (unfortunatly lol) and a twin tip exhaust cause i think cannons are for ships (No offence to the cannon lovers :P).

Also i was thinking about putting up a spotted thread for Tbar area, but didnt no where to put it?

cause i saw a green R33 P plater with an odd bodykit near helidon, and also an orange series 2 33 in grantham.

I see a couple of skylines drive past work each day. As for a a spotted thread we can just use this one, not really enough Toowoomba guys on here for the need for one right now

Least it will give us something to talk about :whistling:

Saw a matte black 33 with orange wheels/trim and HKS stickers on west the other day....

youll see a few of them on west during the week, all the uni students... i cant say ive seen a matte black one though. i saw a white 32 heading east on james on monday morning around 830.

Saw another 4 door r33, this one was a white pearl. Gonna give the 32 a wash, polish and vacuum on Saturday in preparation for Jambo next weekend. Who is keen to come and help me?

I frequent bayside carwash of a saturday morning.

Always see a white 34 with top secret/z-tune front bar on west st near the uni. Think she's a GT

Thats awesome man, might get to catch up with ya.

sooo how are numbers looking for the run on the 4th? (thats assuming we're still going ahead with it?)

One of the guys just informed me that the 4th is Father's day, so has been moved to the 18th, but there is a bit of interest from a few of the T'bar guys

Jamboree 2011 has been postponed until the 1st and 2nd of October... Lame

Yeah pain in the arse had the 32 all clean and looking pretty too, thinking about doing a little cruise on Sunday

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
