Hey people,

as you may or may not know, I'm the person who organises all the official merchandise for SAU-NSW, and I'd like your help with coming up with some new ideas for what bits and pieces we can explore next.

Please have a look and post some ideas here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/363018-s-a-u-n-s-w-merchandise/

And yeah, if you have any Stagea-specific (or any model, for that matter) stuff you'd like to see, let me know.

I have a Stagea hoodie and shirt from SAU QLD. As for future merchandise, how about thermal brew mugs? Like the ones you see at any coffee shop going for a fortune. Just don't make SAU NSW brew mugs cost the Earth lol.

I voted hoodie!

If it had a Stagea silhouette on it; even better, but not fussy.

I'll be looking into the hoodies and I already have an idea in my head for a Stagea-specific hoody, as well as some for the major Skylines/GT-Rs, maybe even the old 240Z. And yeah, I'll be in contact with the current Qld President to see what we can work out.

As for the thermal mugs, I've tried to chase them up before and they WILL be expensive, no doubt about it. :(

repeat post from NSW Merchandise subforum but...

SAU.NSW number plate (with predrilled holes) has now been fabricated.

It'll be on display at the NSW AGM

It's for hire over weekends for Members' photography purposes (- but never meant for fixed speed cams).

Nick gets first bash

The ones we attach for midnight speed runs through "safety" cameras are the OzFoz ones, aren't they Terry?

:P

^ ^ ^ oh dear, how did you find out? :woot:

1 pt for 70km/hr in a 60k zone along P'matta Rd whilst crossing Burwood Rd Safety Cam last month - yes with my Foz. Seniors suffer ADD as well as dementia Nick.

F**k I thought I'd forgotten about it until you brought it up again!

Anyway, back to MERCHANDISE everyone! More Ideas?

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
