Hi,

My power window in my skyline r33 series1 has stopped working in the up position, i have taken the door trim off and dont know if it is the motor or the relay that is gone.

When i push the button up and down i can hear the noise of power window but the window itself does not move.

My questions is could this be the relay that has gone or the actual power window motor itself?

When it went i was putting the power window up and when it reached the top it started a loud clicking noise and then when i tried to put it down nothing happened the window stopped working but the actual noise of the power window is still noticeable.

I think it could be the relay as when i pulled the door trim off the relay box was stuck onto the door with sticky bandage tape and no bracket and since i have had the coil overs put into my car the ride has become alot more stiffer and could have rattled the relay for it to have stopped working could this be the case?

Should the power window still be making a noise if the motor is gone or the relay is gone?

please let me know what you guys think.

Thank you.

There is a plug between the relay and motor. Shove some wires in there and attach the other ends to a battery. Switch polars to put the window up or down.

If it works its probably the relay box.
