yeah had a quick look but mine is in a s13 silvia and there is no way i can fit my hand down the front of the motor as there is no room, barely enough to see all the belts and pulleys in front. a simple front on diagram would be handy!

Screenshot taken out of the manual I downloaded a while ago.

Belts go powersteering, aircon, alternator/waterpump

Manual I just uploaded for R33 Skyline. 23MB

Tip:

Contents page is 21.

Add 20 to page number.

Example:

If page number is EN-21, type 41 in to Adobe reader

I think 3pk means 3 grooves and 4pk means 4 grooves. Also I think the bosch catalog is wrong because when I checked the part numbers on my belts one was 3pk when all the belts listed in the catalog were 4pk

absolutely perfect H4x thanks a lot! Found the diagram and the info and a whole manual as an extra on top. i have the broken belt so i can just bring that with me. The pulley i was worried about is just an idler pulley for tensioning so thats good. should be easy to replace when i put in an alloy rad.

Cheers

Sorry to bring up an old thread here guys but i was just looking at my engine after giving the car a quick wash and noticed that one of my belts seems to be not on correctly. Its the belt sitting on the top most pulley, not sure but i think its the aircon belt. Anyway, just wondering if it was possible to somehow fix that link to the r33 manual as I would find it very useful. Without getting the front bar + fan + cooler off its going to be hard for me to see where to adjust this belt. It looks like it has skipped a rib so only 3/4 of them are running on the actual pulley and the other is off the side. Any help will be muchly appreciated and i can upload a pic if needed.

Um I think theres two bolts you loosen and and another one you use to adjust it. Definetly don't unbolt the pump from the engine.

Haha yeah cheers mate. I ended up taking off the nut on the adjustment thing then removing the bolt that holds that adjusting thing in. That allowed me to get the belt loose enough to get it back on properly :))

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
