yeah well done adam, matt and the rest of the crew from full lock as well as HPI and everyone else who organsied that day. Was an AWESOME turn out of people, i wasnt expecting that many to be there being japanese tuned cars etc but its a good indication as to how this sport is taking off in the country. great to see.

any1 know how bad Denzo got hit in pinky bits? Any1 have pix?

What happened with the banner? Was that turd tryin to knock it off? LOL sorry couldnt help larf when i seen about three of yas, quite solid build, ran up and intercept the scrawny kid, he woulda shit himself, and it was a pissa how he turned around and walked away like he just had a crowbar up his @SS. hehehe

was an AMAZING display of skill, cant say much more than that

GOJIRA!!

Sorry just another Q, Does any1 have lnks to info on those D1 drivers? Any1 know what cars they drive back home?

Where was that S14 with S15 front from?

Cheers

dunno about the S14 but u should be able to find info from the D1 Grand Prix site www.d1gp.com

was a great day, i was filming when they crashed but was waching it 2day and they hit each other exacly behind the bridge! :-( but i got them spinning out .......after! spewin.

i wona try dounuts with my foot resting on my open door.....like the D1 drivers!!!

(in a controlled enviroment) like i had to say that.

yeah that would have been awesome and im sure as the interest grows for it and its popularity that they will be able to afford to bring them over like in the states?

who knows.

i watched the footage b4 and was still in awe :)

Excellent day to be out. The privateers generally sucked except for a few like the shoddy looking 180, Catherine's VK (you try drifing a boat), the Porker, and a couple other Silvias.

The Aussie entries weren't too bad.

The D1 drivers.....Well, their in a class of their own, NUTZ!!!! I don't understand why you would want to drift a corner at 100km/h+ while waving the car door open... MAAAAAD!!!

Too bad about the kiss b/w the Benny's BMT180 and the HPI CA18 but as long as Fulllock keep their word, the fixing will be free. Dunno bout 140 degree water temps though...Maybe someone should have told the D1 gut to turn the A/C off :)

I've captured all my footage and it's a 4.6gig avi file so I'm gonna put it all on a DVD for myself. The D1 dancer was pretty cool too!! I got him strutting his stuff and stlyin to Ms Christina!!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
