Hey people,

It brings me much pain to write that I've had my garage broken into & a handful of parts stolen, at home, while I was asleep in bed...

Last week on either Wed or Thurs night between about midnight & 4am some low life scumbags let themselves in to my garage at home, unbolted some parts off my race car (using & then taking MY tools) & also took some other parts I had in there also...

I will be MORE than happy to pay good money for information regarding the matter as some of the stuff taken was of GREAT importance to me...

Parts include:

1. Nissan RB GTS-R manifold, I have only ever seen one other here in Adelaide so they are super rare.

2. Front mount Intercooler kit off race car, which they used my tools to remove.

3. De-lensed & L.E.D fitted custom R34 headlights, again this is totally custom & 100% unique.

4. Rattle gun, ratchet spanner set, various other tools...

5. Turbo which came with the GTS-R manifold, Unknown jap brand.

6. Intake pipe & Z32 AFM (plug wires cut for quick removal)

There is probably more, but for now this is what I know of...

Some of the parts are fairly generic, however, the Manifold & headlights CANNOT be mistaken...

I hand picked that manifold from a small backstreet garage in Japan back in 2009, bought an entire motor (cos the owner wouldn't separate) & have been holding onto it ever since, waiting for a car to put it on... Which finally arrived just 3 days later :(

There is nothing worse than people who steal from private, individuals who work their arses off to get what they have & have fought for everything they own & it's becoming more & more of a problem every day...

Please keep eyes & ears out for any of the above, & if you know something & wanna make some money, PM me :)

thanks everyone...

A dog is definitely an option. but hard when you're renting... Parts stolen from the Crafers/Stirling/Upper Sturt area so not exactly the kinda thing that happens around here... Obviously someone who knew already or has been here before... There are 1 or 2 suspects at the top of my list who have bought parts off me, who I don't know otherwise but who have been here to pick stuff up... Logically it makes the most sense to be someone like this... So just need to start sniffing around... Pretty spewin I did em good deals on the parts now! :(

I would also like to repeat the fact that I will happily pay good money for info regarding this stuff... Adelaide is a small place... SOMEONE must know SOMETHING!!

Come forth & get cashed up!!

  • 4 weeks later...

More to add to the list of stolen goods...

I know it seems odd to only realise now, but a set of rims were also taken that night... Yet again, a VERY unique set that are like no others...

Didn't realise they were gone until looking for them tonight to show to a potential buyer, but yes, they were in the garage too...

Work VSXX black centre with polished dish... 18" x 9" front & 19" x 10" rears, high offset & have been drilled to suit 5 x 114 as they were originally another stud pattern... will upload pic as long as it lets me.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
