hey guys i have a rb25det with r33 gearbox in my vlt. currently im running the standard 3.45 diff ratio. i want a bit more pick up of the lights but dont want the 4.11s cruising revs. what would be a good choice to go for i was thinking 3.9s or .3.7s

what are your thoughts

What size wheels are you running?

4.11 is a good match up for the RB25 gearbox...5th at 100 is about 2500rpm, not too bad on fuel economy. Keep in mind it's a high revving engine that makes good use of torque around this engine speed. You don't want it labouring along in 5th. I'd go 3.9 if you're adamant you don't want the 4.11.

What engine speed do you currently have in 5th at 100?
