The general consensus seem to favour the 24mm rear bar due to the extra weight of the wagon high up over the rear wheels.

You can order any item individually, or all of the above to make your Stagea a corner devouring beast!

Delivery is not included in this price, and rather than quote a "one size fits all" cost, contact me with your postcode for an accurate shipping cost.

The average shipping cost over the last 3 Group Buys I've run has been around the $20 -$30 mark; (insurance is extra).

As I live in Faulconbridge (Blue Mountains), all those wishing to come to me are welcome otherwise, I am happy to travel a reasonable distance in the Sydney area to deliver at no cost!

This is a great saving over retail, and an excellent chance to get hold of fantastic quality components that will really improve the handling of your wagon!

To stop this from dragging on for ages, I will requre FULL payment by Monday 15th August 2011, and delivery is should be around 2-3 weeks later; 29th August onwards (actual delivery date may be a little earlier or a little later) depending on manufacturing lead time.

Please PM me for a shipping quote BEFORE depositing any funds.

Rest assured, I will be keeping in touch through the process, and in contact with all purchasers once they're ready!

So let's get cracking!

Are any of those Auto specific? (i.e. to suit the wider rear cradle?)

Bubba; there aren't any differing part numbers to indicate that, the part numbers are identical to an R33 GTR rear bar.

How much wider is the rear bar on an auto, compared to a manual?

50mm

I'll make some enquiries tomorrow; but going on what I've seen, I believe the rear will fit the Auto perfectly.

Seems it may be the manual that is slighly narrow, but using the H/D ball links; I thing the extra articulation in ther joints will still allow a satisfactory fit.

Manual is a 33gtr, auto is 50mm wider. There is a known issue with link angles on the auto when using 33gtr bars, some say it's fine and some think it's bad news..

I might just wait until I put the manual rear cradle in.

What did you sort with the auto rear bar?

Hey Ryan,

Ok, we've established that the Whiteline rear bar is 50mm narrower than the factory Auto rear Sway Bar. This means that the Link rods operate on a bit of an angle; as they have to pull in 25mm on each side.

People have fitted them; and run them with no issue; but they are not 100% factory fit. I have offered a solution of a 10 or 15mm billet spacer to minimise the misalignment; but it's really up to the individual as to what you want to do.

I don't want to force the issue and then have people unsatisfied with the end result, so I'll suggest that you PM me and I'll send you some pics that illustrate the link alignment.

Cheers, Dale.

    • Not sure the US can import anything other than the C34 Stagea's, but if you can and you need to to tow, DO NOT under any circumstances get an M35 Stagea. If it is just as a family car and your country/state allows it, absolutely and definitely get an M35 (3.5L if possible as it is effectively a 350Z) over a C34.
    • Punch your VIN (nm35-xxxxxx) into Amayama.com You can see everything there quite easily.
    • Thanks for that, I'll check it all out. I can always do the brakes last anyway if its a problem.  The 16's are super cool, if they do fit I'll cruise around with them for a bit.
    • Well, that's kinda the point. The calipers might interfere with the inside of the barrels 16" rims are only about 14" inside the barrels, which is ~350mm, and 334mm rotors only leave about 8mm outboard for the caliper before you get to 350, And.... that;s not gunna be enough. If the rims have a larger ID than that, you might sneak it in. I'd be putting a measuring stick inside the wheel and eyeballing the extra required for the caliper outboard of the rotor before committing to bolting it all on.
    • OK, so again it has been a bit of a break but it was around researching what had been done since I didn't have access to Neil's records and not everything is obvious without pulling stuff apart. Happily the guy who assembled the engine had kept reasonable records, so we now know the final spec is: Bottom end: Standard block and crank Ross 86.5mm forgies, 9:1 compression Spool forged rods Standard main bolts Oil pump Spool billet gears in standard housing Aeroflow extended and baffled sump Head Freshly rebuilt standard head with new 80lb valve springs Mild porting/port match Head oil feed restrictor VCT disabled Tighe 805C reground cams (255 duration, 8.93 lift)  Adjustable cam gears on inlet/exhaust Standard head bolts, gasket not confirmed but assumed MLS External 555cc Nismo injectors Z32 AFM Bosch 023 Intank fuel pump Garret 2871 (factory housings and manifold) Hypertune FFP plenum with standard throttle   Time to book in a trip to Unigroup
