This school is for primary age students, and there aren't fences or bridges there. While I agree that some school zones are a bit too long, I wouldn't say to remove them completely. 40's an awesome cruising speed for the year 12 chicks ;)

You dirty dirty boy owen. :rofl2:

i drive down there a fair bit to train, and that area is notorious for hoon drivers to fly through, so kudos to the copper who picked him up. however that being said there are plenty of other non skyline cars that i have seen go through as fast or fly past me on those roads that dont get caught. in the drivers defence a 3 lane highway isn't really a half a lane school zone, but they are the stupid ones for not obeying the law. and if a kid went to cross 6 lanes of highway that would almost be just as stupid

I am already condemned.

This thread is now about jailbait.

It never takes long on SAU...

on topic it sounds like a pretty bad call by the 'hoon' even if its 3 lanes wide and looks like a freeway, i accidentally booted it through that school zone in the arvo once coming home from wakefield, its in a little valley dip just a few K's from the track. I was so used to going out there on weekends i forgot it was actually like a Monday or something, no one was around except for some mates in a car behind me who suddenly disappeared in my rear view mirror..

it was only after getting a text later that i realised how lucky i was a cop wasnt over the next rise etc.

yeah, this one's deaaaad straight and open. but it's VERY obviously posted as a school zone including flashing lights... and the non-school speed is 70 anyway (80? i think 70 iirc)

so either way... 60km/h over the limit, even out of school times.

It's in the 80 zone.

yeah in my defence mine was a 100 zone normally and there were no flashing lights or traffic of any kind whatsoever, must have been one of those pupil free day things.

still those people that fly through built up, busy single lane ones at double or more should be pounded in the ass for a few days..whether in prison or by me depending on the driver..:domokun:

    • End game is to: - Remove all the slop from old worn parts - Adjust setup so that the wheels actually fit and the car is drivable (currently it is not because of the extreme rubbing on the guards).   Progress over the last couple of days, removed the rear hubs! Next steps: - Buy bushings - Replace bushings/bearings on hub - Reinstall

    • A few random issues have popped up since my last update. My WMI pressure sensor failed within about 10 minutes of it seeing liquid. It was a 20$ China special, so I'm not surprised. My name brand replacement should arrive today.  My power steering assist also decided to crap out last weekend. The usual, works for about 60 seconds after starting the car then I lose it. I dusted off my old copy of NDS and connected to the HICAS ECU. Code 4 for assist solenoid.... I tested the solenoid and it's fine.  I knew the day where my HICAS ecu would crap out would come, and I welcome it. It was the last HICAS part on the car that is now in the bin. I've ordered an SSR and I will control the power steering solenoid with my Haltech ecu. It will be nice to have proper speed referenced assist again after all these years.
