hey guys hoping some light could be shined here,

ive just picked up a hks 2835 and a trust oil cooler for my gtt,

ive tried searching on here but couldn't really find the details needed,

im wanting to buy earls fittings and make my own lines but not sure about the sizes i need,

with the oil cooler its AN10 so ill be sweet getting the fittings and an10 hose, does anyone know of a good place to buy it.

now with the turbo i have no idea about what size fittings or lines ill need, i know ill need 90's into the turbo but thats about it.

what fitting are need on the other end etc.

if anyone could help here i would much appreciate it, its killing me seeing it sit in a box on my floor lol

on another note does anyone know of a good place to get some alluminium plate or sheet, i need to fab a couple of brackets for the cooler aswell

thanks

you will probably find it cheaper and easier to just get a decent professional to make em up... my braided lines and speedflow fittings only cost $230 for my 2835...

I'd also be interested to know about the oil cooler earl's fittings too... I thought the oil cooler I have (HKS typeS) had larger than -10 fittings though...

Im needing screw in fittings for my greddy oil relocation plate to fit the HKS oil cooler lines???

the turbo didnt actually come with any papers or instructions and its the kai, couldnt find a pro s anywhere.

the cooler and sandwich plate ive got aree 100% -10 well thats wat i ordered anyway.

i managed to find a shop near my place so i might just take it all down there and see what they can do, im worried about them not knowing which fittings are needed for the turbo lines on the motor end

also do i need a new oil drain pipe or will the original one bolt up?

My kit came with a new drain pipe. It's slightly shorter from memory and connects to the standard rubber hose so you

May have an issue there as the hose has a bend.

Pretty sure the HKS one was shorter at least, don't remember. Just saying there might be an alignment issue

75 coupe, some really old HKS coolers had -12 lines but it's pretty uncommon. either way it's a piece of piss to fit. you just need to get the -12 hose ends (if it really is -12) and make sure they come with the right thread to fit into the -10 greddy filter mount. or if you have the hose ends already with the HKS stuff just find a -10/-10 adapter. but there will be fittings that screw into the greddy plate allowing you to fit -12 lines to it for sure. but check it actually is -12 first as it's pretty unlikely.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
