Hello guys and girls. I have up for sale a KAKIMOTO Full HyperMega N1 90mm cat back stainless steel exhaust.

The exhaust itself is in two parts, the first connecting to the cat or de-cat pipe through a 3.5" bore 2 hole flange, this then converts into the 3.5" pipe work which leads to a 3.5" kakimoto 4 hole flange. The second part connects to the first part via a 3.5" kakimoto 4 hole flange, and continues through 3.5" pipe work into the muffler which then opens into a 112mm exit tip.

•PRICE $500•

Specs

- Thin-walled lightweight Stainless-Steel

- Rear muffler tip is 112mm (4.5")

- Piping is 90mm (3.5")

- One 'mid-muffler' - see pics.

- Better than the HKS equivalents as they are either Mild Steel piping or have a huge mid-muffler that quietens the exhaust note to almost silence.

From the cat flange to middle muffler is wrapped in exhaust heat wrap to keep heat away from gearbox .

This exhaust is like brand new and sounds amazing on. A GTR . It will suit any R33 GTST/GTR . I wanted a something with a better RB sound so I got this . But my plans are changed and car is coming off road for some major mods which include a titanium exhaust .

These exhausts may a great sound and I would suggest what you have would be well tolerable for the street.

Just tip the really loud version is the Hyper 2000 Full Maga N1. It only has a small resonator (hot dog) mid way down the exhaust and with big dumps and front pipes is something to behold - shrinking violets need not apply. Attached a pic for reference.

GL with the sale - Great price - someone will pick up a great system.

Are you sure it's for a r33?

The last picture at the tip of the catback the hangers/brackets arent right.

Looks to be r32 position.

That exhaust came off my car a few weeks ago. I can tell you it is for a R33 GTR.

It's 100% off a s3 GTR and put right back only my s3 GTR and will fit any r33 , the s3 have larger diff ( in pic ) and sti fits perfect . It's great on street and sounds like porn

And as "Piggaz" says, Glen's one being advertised above, is for the R33 GT-R; and when Paul took me around the street with it on, that RB sound was magnificent to behold!

It's a great buy for some lucky fellah! I would call Glen now!

Terry

I know the really loud one well - mine is hanging up in the shed with the big custom dumps/front pipes and big cat.

My window tint wasn't dark enough. Fitted a Nismo NE1, quieter but lost a bit of sting :(

Glen's version would sound great and not be to OTT.

Back to business as we're whoring glen's thread - great buy - do it someone.

    • The incentives are mostly the same, yes. Ethanol is cheap compared to the cost of doing 98-100 RON with crude oil alone. 87 to 93-94 AKI all with E10. In 2020 Canada mandated E10 as a part of their "renewable fuel standard" and is supposedly going to go to E15 in 2030. In California where there are only 8 refineries with two threatening to shut down next year it's been over 20 years now of E10 and 91 AKI maximum because there's just not enough refinery capacity or crude oil supply relative to the demand for premium unleaded fuel. And CARB's low carbon fuel standard means functionally none of the diesel available at the pump is made from crude oil anymore. It's almost all entirely 20% biodiesel blended with 80% renewable diesel (hydrotreated vegetable oil) now. The number of gasoline vehicles that support E15 or higher ethanol concentrations is surprisingly low, I can't imagine it being wise to play tricks like this without flex fuel sensors in most of the fleet.
    • It's almost certainly the same as the one next to it. • South Australia, which is hardly as far behind as the rest pf Oz makes out, and who is also not a paragon of progressiveness (read that as over-legislation) in the area of vehicle standards, has this to say on the subject: Adjustable coil-over suspension Aftermarket adjustable coil-over suspension components are suspension units that incorporate an external thread on the main body and corresponding threaded spring saddle that allows the vehicle's suspension height to be varied. If fitting aftermarket or coil-over suspension components you must submit an Application to modify a light motor vehicle form and a report from a light vehicle engineering signatory (LVES).
    • Hi all, Long time since I've posted here. Looking for some advice on what I can remove to further identify the cause of my issues.  I can move the passenger seat forward and back but the knob used to adjust the seat angle is pretty much free spinning, there's very little resistance.  Removing the side cover I can see that the chain is intact but the shaft for the adjustment spins without the gear attached to it moving.  What's my next step for disassembly here? Is this a common fault? Just being a little cautious as I didn't want to start removing bolts for a spring to fly out or something equally as stupid.  Cheers
    • Those above shitboxes, mediocre and above usually have a turbo strapped to them, hence the slightly higher octane is required.
