Beer Baron
for a street car a single nismo in-tank will support 600hp (enough fuel for 700cc injectors). You don't need a surge tank to make that power. however if you are going to take this car to the circuit a surge tank is a good idea. simply because it'll mean you can enjoy your car on the track right down to an empty tank. without one you will get fuel surge at anywhere from half tank to 1/4 tank. but if you are just going to the track for fun (ie not competitive) then the simply solution is just keep it over 1/2 tank for each session and you'll be fine. if you do just get the nismo intank i'd also upgrade the wiring with a direct power feed from the battery (through a relay). tomei (and I think sard too) even sell kits to do it for about $100 if you are not electrically minded.
