Testing O2 Sensor

what resistance does a fully functioning o2 sensor have.

or is there any other way i can check that my o2 sensor is working correctly.

that information is for r33 gtr & r34 gtr. i aso do not have the software and testing equipment. all i have is a multimeter

Put the multimeter across the signal and ground pin - you should see something similar to that link (Oscillation between 100mV and 900mV).

Testing resistance on a O2 sensor will actually damage it, possibly even kill it.

it's not about testing the resistence but checking the current passing through it.

ok so its not resistance its volts we are looking at, so i hook the volt meter up in parallel, a fully functional o2 sensor should fluctuate between 0-2v-0.8v once at operating temperature, before this it holds a reference voltage at around 0.4v.
