Exhaust Info Needed

Hi guys i dont know much about NA cars and exhausts but my NA r34 coupe has a 2.5" cat back exhaust with no mufflers and a resonator.

will this be supplying enough back pressure?

would it be infact making it perform better or worse due to the back pressure thing?

Also i have a high flow cat and would extractors be a reasonable mod to do.

i know that turbo cars have much better gains to be had but im still on my p's and have had these questions looming around for a while
