Bad Ticking/rattle/rubbing Noise

Hi...

Can anyone help me... Everytime i start my car in the morning and let it warm up for like 1-2mins and start to drive off i get this real loud ticking/rattle and it sounds like its coming from

the turbo area.. I have been told its the lifters and have changed to thicker oil castrol edge 25-50 i think and it still does it.. Even after the car is warmed up and i stop somewhere for like 10-20mins

and start the car it will stil make the ticking noise i have also put in value/lifter cleaner and will stil do it.. My car is stock besides an exhaust..

Will be an exhaust leak either from the head to manifold or manifold to turbo or both.

So its nothin to do with the lifters or the oil im using?

Maybe ,maybe not hard to say without seeing for yourself but whenyou described fromturbo area it would point towards exhuast leak but then you say it does it whwn cold that points to lifters.

Try feel around turbo area for leaks.

Will a exhaust / turbo leak affect the performance at all? It hits boost fine all the way to redline.

25w50 oil!?!? It's way too thick for your engine. What oil were you using previously?

25w50 isn't too thick depending on the temperature...

I was using 10-40 havoline semi synetic and was stil making noise..
