A/c Is Broken

Hey guys i think this is the right spot for this.

I just bought replacement bulbs for my a/c unit so it matches my dash. When i removed the a/c unit the twist bulb holders that were supposed to be there werent and the bulbs were actually solded into the ring around the openning. I did my best to remove the bulbs and solder without damaging anything but there was very little of the conductive metal around the openning left and now the replacement bulbs wont light up whatever way i put them in.

Now my question is, is it possible for me to try and re-solder a ring around the openning to try make it conductive again or am i pretty much stuffed and have to get a new a/c unit all together?

Buy one from the used section, shouldn't cost to much for a used A/C unit

It'll be easier then stuffing around with your unit

After a bit of soldering and playing around i got the leds in and working
