Hi guys

I ran into SIR33 on the way home today (not litttorally) and he told me he had posted details of a cruise for Sunday. Looks like the post didn’t stick or went to the wrong forum so here are the details.

Not sure who originally organized this cruise but I am willing to field questions from those who have them.

I can PM details to those interested.

PS be careful to keep an eye out for bunnies carrying baskets of eggs, if we hit one of these my kids have threatened they will never speak to me again.

YEAH SORRY WRONG SITE I ORGANISED IT KEEN FOR A REAL CRUZ IN THE HILLS LIKE BRAKES GLOWING KINDA THING PLUS DISCONNECTED HICAS AND WHEEL ALIGNMENT SO INTERESTED IN HOW THAT GOES.HOPE TO SEE LOTS OF YOU THERE IF YA UP TO IT. :)

A great cruise

there were about 9 cars in total that went out throuth Inglewood, williamstown and back down the George to Athelstone.

A nice cruise with a mix of tight turns and high speed sweepers.

Plenty of stops for everyone to regroup, and a little white barina (or some such car) to overtake us again, and again and again - only to have us all FLY past it 5km down the road.

For those interested there was a slow R33GTR up the front, 2 R33GTSt's, a 200SX, R32 GTSt, 2 WRX's and an RX7 (did I miss anyone?)

Thanks everyone

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
