Hey guys.

So im ditching my Nistune in favour of the Haltech mainly for logging/features and so forth. oh and losing the AFM is a bonus.

Several questions.. i got a Platinum Sport 1000 and a Rackpak IQ3 dash on order. so now for the questions.

- I want to be able to have fuel and oil pressure switches in line. Haltech sell them for 250 bucks EACH.. pretty pricy and from what my understanding is they are only a common 0-5 volt switch. So can any sender be used and then calibrated to perform this?

- With the oil and fuel pressure imputs... can i set the haltech to take action on low readings? and will they be displayed on the dash?

- whats involved in setting the anti lag up?

think thats it for now haha

We thought the same thing when we were trying to set up fuel and oil pressure feedback to the ECU/Dash and to be honest we spent quite a lot of time trying to find a cheaper fuel pressure sender. The sender in question is made by honeywell. You could try searching overseas (America) for this but I think you'll come to the same conclusion we did and that it's better to just buy the sender they provide.

There may be another sender available somewhere but we couldn't find it. Someone on here might know though

aem do a cheaper 0-5 volt pressure sender. like 60 bucks on ebay. its just not as compact as the other style sensors. same plug etc etc. 24mm hex.

being a linnear sensor it will be in the haltech sensor archive.
