I was going to make it lower but a bit wider 10mm base 3 inch pipe for the sides with a top plate 3mm. I starting planning it out just need to work out volume it will be I'm aiming for 5.5 but see what happens hard to figure out

Ok so after a shit load of reading and smoke breaks iv come up with my design simular to some plenums but different as well. It turns out the the plasma man plenum didn't do much other then store more air then stock. The reason for more response is the fact the air doesn't turn back on itself so when the valve closes the air that wasn't consumed pulses back up the runner causing turbulence. So removing the bend allows the air to pulse back into the chamber faster causing less turbulence so quicker response very simple really. So plenum size is the next thing smaller smaller the plenum gives more resonce due to increased velocity. larger the plenum means more air up top more power but less midrange. Now I want everyone's opinion seriously. Would you rather want more power between 3500rpm and 6500rpm or 5000rpm to 8500rpm for a street car? Prob should start a poll on this that way I can make a plenum to suite street and one for track. I'll start fabing one soon

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
