hey guys!

Last night i was cruising with a few mates, one of them in an S14 was clocked down the graham farmer freeway doing 146kph, so he got slapped with 6 demerit points and a $350 fine and stickered for every mod he had.

I saw the cop there and tried to grab my phone to warn him but (damn connection time) i was too late and the lights went on. i guess this is why we need UHF's!

So anyway i guess he got off pretty lighty because he was trying to be polite to the cop. He managed to avoid being locked up, taken to court, $1500 fine and loss of liscence.

I guess we just gotta be more careful, especially around those bridges!

anybody know how much those radar jammers (front and rear) are and if they actually work?

Thanks!!

146? man he's very lucky.....

As to the radar jammers they are illegal to have in your car, like radar detectors?

I agree with Bass Junky.. keep it on a track.. :O

Anything's better then the new laws they're considering for Vic - 15km/h or over is instant loss of license.

WTF? you can't be serious!! That reminds me, I still have to send my letter into Mr Bracks, letting him know one of the reasons i left VIC was the revenue raising scum like him destroying the state. Haven't looked back.... There are better places to live with the attitude that every km over is a killer. It simply isn't.

Did anyone hear about some country or state which removed speed cameras for a 12 month trial?

they found there was no difference from the average of deaths while using or not using them.

In New Zealand everyone gets flashed same as here if you speed so many km over the limit, but they take the top 15% and fine only those guys and that seems to work well, its fair, and its not revenue raising!

maybe our government could learn something there

When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
