I just bought a set of tein super streets for my r33 but currently have tein ha's on and rear tyres have alot of inner camber wear so i was just wondering if i should get pineapple adjustable bushes or go straight for the camber control arms and if so what brands are good for a decent price budget , i have been looking at the neotech ones

also would i need to also upgrade the toe arms or traction rods?

Thanks Con

Your question is slightly muddled. If perhaps by "pineapple adjustable bushes" you don't in fact mean what everyone else means by "pineapples"*, then yes, adjustable bushes are probably enough. You would need enough bushes to do the inner and outer ends of both the upper arms and the front uppers (variously called traction or toe arms** depending on who you're talking to).

You should be able to get enough adjustment out of bushes ar both ends of the arms to correct your camber wear. Note that installing the bushes into the outer ends means pulling the hubs out of the car. There's a lot more work involved than that needed to just throw adjustable arms onto the car. That said, with the age of the bushes in these cars, I would just replace the ones in the hubs with new harder ones anyway, which means hubs out even if just putting arms on. I have just been doing all the rear end in my car this last week, and the original outer bushes allow a lot of movement of the arms relative to the hub. So we just replaced them. It's not too expensive to do so.

Adjustable suspension arms with exposed metal/metal ball joints are not generally legal on the road either, which is worth considering if you live in defect land.

*pineapples are urethane rings that get installed around the subframe mounting points to cut down on squirm in the mounts and also to allow you to change the pinion angle of the diff (if you choose to).

**the real toe arms are in fact the ones that are only found on non-HICAS cars in place of the tie rods.

The bushes in the camber correction kits are for the arms. the hub doesn't house any bushes for the 2 upper control arms in the rear

Or where you talking fronts? Im not to sure about them. but i think all the rear bushes are in the arms, well i know mine were when i put my camber bushes in. has helped but. Rears don't wear nearly as much. But i think camber arms are the easier option
