Heyy, my names Justin and I have been a big fan of skylines since my cousin first got me into them :)

I haven't really been into the whole, cars and engines thing since I got my P plates. I am still currently learning but have my dad and cousin to teach me everything :)

I currently own a Toyota Celica 1990, but as of June, my brother gets that car and I get to buy a new one. And I'm leaning towards a Skyline. So thought I'd find a place that has all the help I could need on a skyline when no one else is around :)

My dream skyline, one day, is a GTR R32. But for the moment just any skyline from 32-34. Currently looking at one now, that's been in a small accident but is non-turbo. As I'd rather be safe if this new law comes in preventing anyone under 21 a turbo car. If it doesn't apply to current cars, I will probs swap the engine for a turbo one.

I'm kinda new on all this and still learning, but I will eventually get there :)

When I get my first skyline, I'll post pictures and stuff on here :D

Sorry for the long into and stuff, but had no idea what to talk about xD

Hey justo welcome to SAU buddy dont wanna smash ya dreams on skylines mate but wait till you are old enough to drive a turbo skyline as buying a non turbo is an expensive exercise as they can be as expensive if not more than a turbo and also there is more to just swapping engines from n/a to a turbo as lotsa other things like brakes etc will need upgrading also. Plenty of good helpful guys with heaps of knowledge in here do ya homework in here then when the time comes buy yourself a sweet R32 GTR and use all the good things you learn in here into practice on your new beast

Good luck mate

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
