racing with good parity is good racing. racing without parity is "the person with the biggest wallet wins", AKA group A from the early 90's, which ends up with 1 team coming first and second, with daylight coming 3rd.

the whole purpose of the COTF is to control the costs of the sport to keep it viable for the future, and keep the racing close. for all the crap nascar cops, from a specator point of view it is probably the most exciting, close racing on the planet. there is always lots of carnage, and you often don't really know who is going to win until the last lap. by comparison, F1 would be one of the most boring racing categories there is, with little overtaking on the track with most of it being done in the pits with the undercut. you don't even really get close racing in the pits like you do with the v8's, where cars may even trade paint in the pit lane (and often do when entering pit lane)

Skaife will get the job. He would have hung up his enduro helmet knowing exactly what was coming.

Tony isn't that bad, what his done for the sport of V8 supercars over the two decades is admirable. Granted his done nothing for lower forms of Motorsport but people don't realize that there is an entire committee making the decissions not just cochrane.

The homebush circuit was the brain fart of skaife, then put to the board who made the choice to run with it giving skaife the task of making it happen.

I say best of luck to cochrane, his been the spear head for the sport, taking all of the good and bad press over a long period of time. I admire what his done, hats off to him.

    • ah gotcha ill go remeasure again, thanks for all the tips. when i measured the TPS 5v reference voltage, i put my multimeter leads on 5v power and strut tower bolt, it gave me 5v with boost sensor disconnected and with boost sensor connected it gave me 1.4v. ill try remeasure again this time with volt meter both on the 5v reference and TPS signal ground wire.
