i have a r33 series 1 auto with 3'' turbo back exaust s-afc 2 running 10 psi it has 155rwkw and it has ran a 14.5 down the quater its not that good but soo to do more improvments then i will see what i get

no but releasing the clutch right, changing gears at the right time and everything else is the hard bit, anyone can drive in a straight line.

Right you are!

Releasing the clutch right ----- Drop it. sidestep the clutch when ready to engange.

Changing gears at the right time ---- Rev to end of power band rpm and change up gear.

The rest is up to your car. If it won't capitulate then modify it.

If you have an auto life is made a bit easier.

I just asked R34, another user on these forums and he said:

I got to 312 RWHP and a 400m time of 13.6 with a better result with more traction possible

That's 232 rwkw's which sounds like a reasonable amount of power.

Personally I'm more into track work but with tiptronic you can be. I think you can get manualised auto kits though I haven't seen one for years.

I was quoting someone else with an R34 there. I haven't run a QM yet and still have some work to do to my car.

I've got Nismo panel filter and Fujitsubo cat back zorst at the moment but getting AVCR, CES split dump/front pipe and emanage within the next month. Don't know what power to expect with that but all I know is that I don't want to break or replace my turbo.

Yeh mines kinda got that problem, its low and the suspension is hard, so it loses traction crazy sometimes

Im getting dyno readout next week, so ill post it up, im fairly standard at the mo, but alot of stuff is going in soon so i want a RWKW that i started with, and ended with :D

Dyno my car once and got 137 rwkw.

R33 series 1, 3' cat-back, air filter and boost to 11psi.

Haven't had the chance to run a 1/4 mile yet, but I think I'm the one with the lowest rwkw here :D

But then again could be just the dyno hehe :D

A stock R34 Gtt, made about the same as mine on the same dyno to give you a comparison.

just for some comparison to the auto 33's here

97 manual

pod filter

no airbox / cold air kit

biggfer 4" muffler

stock exhaust

stock everything else

141rwkw and 0 to 100 in 5.98

hey was just wondering do the auto skylines (r33's im talkin bout) only come at standard boost of 5psi? i thought they were the same as manual but i could be wrong anyone want to clarify for me...

No the auto 33's also have the dual stage boost... (7psi after ~5000rpm)

But it wouldn't surprise me if your stock solenoid was sticky or the ECU was deciding not to open it...

    • After @Kinkstaah debacle, I'd never want to try and get it right 😛
    • The hood lines up with the fenders. The front bar doesn't perfectly line up with the fenders where the wheel arch is. You have to 'squeeze' the front bar 'in' as it wants to naturally flare out and be longer on the sides. There's a few threads where people notice this when they only swap a GTR style bumper and front bar. Unless you have genuine OEM items - you may be better served getting conversion kits. There are GTT bumpers to fit GTR hoods. There are GTR hoods (non genuine) to fit the GTT bracketry. MAY
    • The real question is, on some of those wild roads they call highways, how many times did a farmer in an old ute from the early 2000s blaze past you over double lines?   Tassie is a wild and really cool place, and after doing a work related road trip there January of 24, I understand why Targa Tasmania is ran there, and is so tough to do well at! We had a brand new Camry Hybrid that handled quite nicely, and thankfully weren't in an old car, because cresting some of those hills in a 100kmh zone for it to suddenly be like "surprise f**kers, this is a recommended 30kmh hard right turn" wouldn't be pretty. We weren't racing the Camry around, but we weren't slouching in the bends either. But my lord those old farmers know their old clapped out utes, and those roads, as they were absolutely hammering it!   You're also super lucky to make it up to Mt Wellingtong this time of year. It's often road closed with snow/ice! Also, I hope you hit up Salamander Road in Hobart for some insanely good food (I highly recommend the dimly lit Irish pub for a Guiness Pie, or even the bangers and mash!!!)   How long did the Ferry take to get across? I want to do a road trip of Tas on my own time, but I get horrifically sea sick, and I don't want me on the Ferry, just the car 😛
    • So far so good, about 30km on it so far and nothing out of sorts yet thankfully
    • Look at @Kinkstaah's thread on the issue.
