An update

We have just managed to fit the GTR attessa system to the car (series 1) coupled with a fusion ajustable g sensor system.

The fusion is the latest version of the skylab controller developed by a friend of mine in the UK.

So I now have a working lateral sensor system which can be adjusted along with the front rear torque split.

Predictably it has snowed or rained every day since it was finished but took the car out today and the adjustable fusion set up is definately working.

I cant really tell how well it works as with 500atw (uk figs) on a greasy surface it was a question of how much it goes sideways rather that if it went sideways.

All I can say is it goes sideways less

So i am waiting for some good weather so i can put 888s back on and try it out properly.

Did a very similar thing to mine a while ago by modifying the standard solenoid set up on the attesa and running a full race ets pro system , so you can automatic split control our manual . Car was un drivable in 2wd pick a gear fry the tires

This is a different approach ( I think )

We are swopping the stagea attessa ecu for a GTR one and providing lateral sensor readings. This should give exactly the same AWD system as a GTR except both the front /rear split and the way the car reacts to a "slide will be adjustable using the fusion controller.

What's the difference between stagea and gtr attessa Ecu and reactions ? Yeah diffrent approach my attessa Ecu controls nothing any more the ets pro has its own g sensors and computer that has taken over control of the system In a sort of piggy back manner

I dont know if the speeds are any different but the GTR system does a lot more.

The new G sensor if much faster than the standard one so Im told this speeds up the response and I now have lateral sensors that work.

The system is using the fully functioning GTR ECU with the added ability to bias the f/r split and the way it reacts to under/oversteer

    • There's not a great deal to report here .... except ...... FOR .... LSD!!!  I bought a Quaife LSD from the UK and shipped it here .... Wish I'd just bought locally cause the shipping and duty was $700! But there were so many diffs used in the E90s I just wanted to be absolutely certain I was getting the right one so I spoke with a supplier in the UK who builds race cars and they have heaps of experience with the E90s.  I pulled the diff out which was seriously awesome - I've never done anything like that before, I must have watched 1000 videos on YT about it as well as consulting the Bentley manual. It was super easy in the end. The diff was delivered to the awesome folks at Hornsby Diffs and will be back in a few weeks. I also replaced the diff bushings with some Nolathane ones.  Really looking forward to getting it back and getting back to the track or even the skidpan.
    • yeah... the 13kg/mm springs weren't always in there, I had 10kg/mm but doing a few SMSP commanded heavier front springs. It's so good now going into T1 and T2, just need more seat time and real tyres.
    • Yes, well. Mine are less than half that. ARBs are not set to "dumb" either.
    • I would hope. But, we all know even the best companies have an issue sporadically.
    • LOL well, lucky mine doesn't have some R shit on it. Around town, it handles so much better than the R33, R33 in the wet is pretty dangerous to the untrained hoon, especially with 13kg/mm front springs.
