Ok so i installed it today and started the car.... Runs relatively smooth for maybe a second then puts/coughs and dies unless i get on the gas. Pressure tested from the end of the rail (t piece off adapter in end of fuel rail) and got a reading of 30psi. Adjusted the reg up and down and could not find a sweet spot where it will idle at all.

The reg had been used only for testing on a mates gtr. Only for half an hour. Is it possible it was damaged?

Anyway im changing the fuel pump tommorrow to a walbro and see what happens.

Is there any common mistakes of people dikn these up?

Cheers guys

Nah, theres some issue it seems with the ecu. On ignition the fuel pump ir running at 12 volts, builds and holds fuel pressure then after a min voltage drops to around 5.5v. A mate tells me suby's have this issue and they earth the fuel pump to the body thuss running 12 v continuose flow. We shall see as this does not seem common on r34's
