Time for me to pass on the war horse, and build my castle!

I absolutly love this car, if i could keep it i would, but after a lot of thought, it's time for me to sell my car and buy a house.

I've had this car for about 2 and a half years now, and since i've had it i've treated it as best as i can. Because i have a work car, and have had for over a year now, i really only drive it once a week these days if i'm lucky. When i do drive it though, it drives extremely well, i will be very sad to see it go :( Hopefully i can find somebody else who will nurture it just as much.

As far as modifications go, theres no much to it. I've tried to keep it as cop friendly as possible, while still being enjoyable.

Here is a list off the top of my head of the mods it has:

3" Stainless steel exhaust system from the turbo back (Nice and quiet, but still sounds good)

Return flow front mount intercooler

Blitz High flow panel filter

Apexi height and damper adjustable struts with lowered king springs

Tomei HICAS lock bar with electronic HICAS light disabler

Aftermarket Push Button clutch

Factory option 30th aniversary front bumper

Uras Exsol 18"s with Federal 595 RS-Rs (Amazing tyres! Grips VERY well!)

The car has recently been serviced by Racepace, and as a result has had the turbo and exhaust gaskets freshly replaced (made a big difference!) I also replaced the sparkplugs last week. Car has done 137xxx kn, Plenty of meat on the brake pads, plenty of tread left on the tyres. Just under 9 months of rego!

Will come with RWC!

The exterior has a few scratches on it from the previous owner. I went to 1 panel beater for a quote just out of interest, said around 600 i think..

I will also chuck in some extras if you buy the car, these are as followed:

Greddy E-manage blue with loom harness good to plug n play

Volk F-Zero Challenge 18" wheels

R33 GTST S1 front seats

2 Pod filters in good condition with a heat shield to go with it

(Of course if you dont want these, i can knock a bit of the price off)

My name is Andrew, i live in the eastern suburbs of melbourne (Lilydale) Feel free to give me a call or message to organise an inspection. My number is 0434145894.

Sorry There isn't many photos at this stage, i will be uploading more as soon as i can get time to take some nice photos. I know the front bar picture is even worse than the others, but it's just there to give people an idea of the 30th Ani bar.

ASKING PRICE: $10,500.

I can be slightly negotiable with the price though.

(Might also be swayed with a trade of a cheap family car + cash my way)

    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
