Hey SAU,

so today I was driving just casually to pick up a few things. I boosted a bit, nothing extreme. Suddenly, I went to change from 2nd to 3rd, and I was unable to put it all the way into 3rd, so it would just be stuck in "neutral". So I stopped and tried to put it into 1st, that didn't move either. However, all other gears worked perfectly.

After 20mins of trying to get home, both 1st and 3rd gears worked again! WTF.

Not sure what is going? Thought it might be a clutch issue, but if I accelerate in 5th or 6th, it doesn't slip.

Any help would be good :)

Thanks

Clutch slip and inability to select gears are at opposite ends of the clutch failure/problem spectrum. So no slip does not mean not a clutch problem.

I would be thinking that you have a problem with either your clutch, or the selector forks and rods in your box could have an issue. These things are held together with pins. If the pins somehow start to drop out of where they are supposed to be you can get random misbehaviour. Same with the detents associated with the selectors.
