sinistaGTR
I say 370z. She doesnt need the hassles with a turbo (and we all have them) Its sporty and they are quite nice inside (chicks love that) There reliable and quickish cars (remember were talking sporty not time attack here) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/401297-advice-on-buying-a-car-time-again/page/4/#findComment-6393098 Share on other sites
sinistaGTR
Or if your looking for 4wd turbo....cannot go past an evo x and even better an evo ix (no spelling mistakes there). They are a million times better than the STI. hamiltonau
……^ TROLOLOLO ;P loving it Nee-san oh and she is pretty much sold on a 370 we took for a drive tonight, wasnt much fun in the rain we had in Sydney tonight but she was blown away by the looks of the thing, crispness of the interior and deep bellow of the aftermarket exhaust. He is asking for 51K but im hoping we can get him down to 45 or so if we haggle a little, can only ask right? here is the ad http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-370z-2009-12791953?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=5&eapi=2&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294776694%20898%201216%201622&silo=Stock&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5&sort=default heres what your paying for a slighty newer model http://www.carsales.com.au/bncis/details/nissan-370z-2012-12592377?base=1216&vertical=Car&eapi=2&Page=1&sort=default&cr=0&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294776694%20898%201216%201622&silo=Stock&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5 looks the bee's knee's but nearly 20k more for a few less miles on the clock? Pffft oh and she has a friend at Pickles whos keeping an eye on the auctions, they go for as low as 40k through them sometimes. Write out a cheque for $45k and wave it under his nose. It's a buyers market so if he wants to sell it he'll have to bend. hamiltonau
Oh dear..... Hey I was in a hurry, guess its a good thing I ain't no motoring journalist! Will try the 45k bank cheque route and yeah sure they depreciate a lot but he worst of the damage has been inflicted by the time it's dropped to the mid forties Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/401297-advice-on-buying-a-car-time-again/page/4/#findComment-6395357 Share on other sites
warps
Just giving you a hard time . Each to their own. Not up to us to tell you (or your friend) how to spend your (her) money. I think the Zed will be a great choice - specially if you can get it for $45k. All cars depreciate. Some more than others. If you want to get hammered on resale, pay full price for a taxi spec falcadore.
