URGENT! removing rear disc on R32 GTS

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

im in a bit of a predicament here! in the middle of replacing discs need to finish so i can get to work tom!

How do i remove the rear discs? i have pulled the wheel and caliper off, but the thing wont budge! do i have to undo the huge 36mm nut for the hub to remove?

thing is the DBA 4000 rotor looks like it would slide over that hub?

i removed the rubber plug and unscrewed two spring tentioned screws, but still wond budge.

and yes handbrake is off.

HELP PLEASE!

thanks!

Sorry I don't think I will be able to help.

But do the R32's use the caliper for the handbrake or a drum type setup.

Just making sure that you have the handbrake off...

I know what it is like to be in a big hurry and things not going well.

Sorry if this is just plain stupid

There are 2 threads in the disc that take a 6or8mm bolt.

Screw a bolt in each to put some tension on the disc , spray some CRC around the hub where the disc slides over and tap the h/brake drum part of the disc lightly with a hammer.

Cheers

Ken
