i spent 1000 on my tools at work and got given 1400 bucks worth from the government for being an apprentice, wtf do you need so many tools for??

yeah, the government grants came into effect when I was in my 3rd yr.

no tool grants.

no rta allowances.

I was one of the last who done it tough.

had no missus and didn't go out.

thought tools were a wiser investment than wasting in a car.

I was right, been through about 6-10 cars since, still have the tools.

and so many tools, to make life easier.

instead of doing things the hard way, the right tool can make a big difference.

ant dawg shreading shit up!!

everyone must get one of these!! so much fun!!

ive seen big guys on these things to if certain people are worried.

60 bucks from kmart but stock wheels are shit so i got green machine ones for another 30 bucks which should last longer.

Which Kmart?

If they is that cheap I'm getting me one ASAP

What sort of brakes do they have?

Oh and Senic drive Merewether or Yule road or Mermorial drive Bar Beach or King Edward Park for down hill skids

waratah had 5 on friday and i got 1 of them.

might have to wait till next week or just shop around for the better "green machine" tyres cause 2 kmarts didnt have them in so i got the last 2 from toys r us.

there could be other costs like the seat may break after time, but if you got a school seat and bolted that on itd be sweet, and if you want to get real good all the 80km/h guys get pumped up tyres and put pvc pipe over them and bearings and bigger axles etc, but i cant see anything being expensive to fix/dodgy up

oh and brakes is just the 2 pads on the rim like a bicycle, not heaps good, i just tightened mine though and its MUCH better.

but think about it, its only metal and bicycle parts, everything is cheap and easy

haha and right on queue, was out the front of mine on the thin foot path for a bit more of a slope, drifted round a corner and didnt go round hard enough, hit the raised grass and it tried to throw me out, heard a slight crack,

seat has a small crack in it now which will probably get bigger haha, anyone good with fibre glass? thinking of just reinforcing this one cause its pretty comfy.

and mounting it a bit better.

may have to start a build thread hahahahahahahhaha

J-Rad I think I still got some fibreglass stuff here in the shed if you want that

The other thing you can do is go to Withworths or Bias and get a fibreglass repair kit, just make sure you get some 400gsm matting as the 200gsm is crap and a waste of time. As for making it stronger some plywood or always works well but fibreglassing is piss easy just have to mix the resin and catalyst in the correct ratio

thinking of getting a school seat now, just cause the stock seat is flimsy. though school seat will look cheap haha.

I will be disapointed if u dont get a bucket seat of some sort and mount it to it, just saying.

Hahaha yeah monthly pays would suck balls

Fortnightly I could live with

And yes a little short this week but not from holidays which rocked but the new company that does the pays at the hospital have f**ked up Melisas pay yet again and not paid her for 32 hours from the last fortnight

And don't even start me on the sick leave and annual leave fiasco the hospital has created.

its not that bad, i get fortnightly pay n sorta cope :P

also finally my coilovers are in australia, in customs now should be here this week :D

Nice one, my car is booked in for Saturday to get my coilovers fitted... Anyone keen for a cruise sat Arvo ha

    • Sequential Is fine to drive on the street
    • Well that is not a sign of good quality..  Understand, but not so nice to drive on the street I suppose and out of my price range..
    • I recently got myself a 1989 r32 GT-R and it has some slight smokiness from the exhaust and misfires sometimes when coming off the throttle. I'm looking for a good mechanic in the Brisbane region who will do a good job on it. It'll need a diagnosis, and most likely an engine rebuild with refurb/stock parts (not looking for a motorsport build... yet). If anyone has done something like this before/knows stuff about this in terms of who can do it and how much it cost, I'd like to hear about it. I was looking on the forum and I found some posts from 2020 that were similar to this, but it has been a while since then so if anyone has any updated info that would be great.  I'm also new to the forum so if this topic should be in a different place please let me know. Thanks in advance!
    • Stretching my memory now but about 10,000kms. After that I had a hissy fit. In went in a OS88 sequential then a PPG sequential. The extra gear is a game changer.
