cheers V35A wasn't sure if that would be sufficient, but now i think about it i had some led's stuck on with 3m before and went threw auto wash all the time and they stayed on.

@xntrq - some people just prefer the clean no badge look, I know if I owned a GTR I would keep all the badges etc, for me it depends on the vehicle as to wether I would keep them on or not. Every1 is different

sorry to hijack this thread.

I have had a look around on the forums (I do remember a post about it a while back but cant seem to find it anymore) but does anyone know where I could get the rear v35 badges locally (Sydney)? the full set.

Not sure about Sydney. Speak to Nuwan from IREV he's in Melbourne but he can get what you want shipped from Japan.

Not local to Sydney, but I see them pop up on ebay in USA often.. remember in USA it is 'cool' to rebadge an infiniti as a Nissan skyline!

The 350GT badge is often there. the 'SKYLINE' letters pop up a bit less often.

Just out of curiosity, I went lengths to rebadge my car. Why would you guys debadge it?

Good point, I have my 350GT fully debadged because i know that i am 1 of 3 V35 owners in my town so i guess it leaves people thinking "damn that's nice, but what is it?" that's my logic anyway. But same as what Joshua says if i had a R series skyline GTR i would leave it badged definitely.

Personally, I don't like the debadged look.. it makes me thing 'dodgy back yard repair job'. But some prefer the debadged look.

Just personal taste I guess.

I get that mentality too. Right now all i have on the rear is the 350GT and i get people ask me what car that is.

Yeah, i just have the front Nissan badge on for the time being until i order a black grill with no badge. It's funny seeing people overtake me and i see them staring at my car, then they get past me and do a 360 in their seat to look at the front badge haha.

^^ 360 degrees? havent seen that since 80's horror films

Ha reminds me of the xbox360 quote http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080814191737AAyxK2j

I can say Annabelle wasn't very bright...

Have you tried, I dunno, Nissan?

Give them your VIN and they can get you the badges... yes, all of them.

yeah the few I called weren't very helpful. The one dealer that had any inclination of getting them in said it would be approx $300!

Tried a couple of local import dealers today as well, none of them had any. So I guess i'm getting them from the US.

Nissan never have any idea about our cars that's why i don't even bother calling them. Last time i went there the head mechanic told me to go to the panel beaters to get my comp rod bushings changed... dafuq

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
