I can be added to the going list, got my weekend swapped at work, FUARK YEAH!

One ugly 33 to the list please!

Awesome mate ;) looking forward too it! U can join my car in the ugly club haha.....

I'm on call for work so will have to play it by ear, but keen to meet up with you guys after the gorge for the pie run if this is still an option?

May have missed it in the thread, but if so I would appreciate confirmation as to where exactly to meet the group.

Would be great to meet some new faces and take a few pics of all the sexy rides.

Would be good to meet you mate.

Matt, any idea on a meet point for the run back up?

I need to make sure I get my suspension in before this.

I got 3/4 of it done on the weekend but I can't get the back left one out. Stupid bolt is seized and I need to get a friend to cut the damn thing out for me.

Worst luck. But at this stage still on track for this cruise. So keen still!

Would be good to meet you mate, so let us know if you can make it... My number is 0434353292 so if you need us on the day save it :)

We put up a location but it was more of an EOI for the guys wanting to come either down or back up, anywhere in Hornsby is fine but due to the number of cars i am suggesting before the road divides as there looks to be a large shoulder to stop on to meet up, if anyone has better suggestions please fire away :)

Yep, as above :D

How'd you go with the bolt? Odd for it to seize..... Mine were OK? Let us know either way mate........

Sorry for the lack of updates, i've been off sick this week and snowed under trying to keep up with the workload due to the time off, i WILL be fine for the cruise lol

Taking it to a friends place tomorrow and cutting it out. My fronts came out well easy and my rear right just needed some convincing with the worlds longest breaker bar but the rear left just would not budge, won't even turn both nut and bolt. Starting to think it got bent when I got run off the road a few months ago. Had a friend of mine (90+kg) hanging off the nut trying to turn it and it wouldn't budge. Should come good tomorrow though, I'll let you know.

You talking about the coliver bolt yeah? That is odd :/

Re: coilover bolt.

Metal shrinks when cold, might make it a bit easier to budge the thing.

Nope, if it didnt come out with that sort of leverage it aint coming out!

Just figure it'll be easier to cut the head off the bolt and push it out. Not sense it bruising my hands over it.

I'm very interested to see the condition of it once it comes out. Either it's bent or some spanner at the workshop I sent it to has put loctite on it.

Post up pics, i wanna see..... Just to confirm you were swinging on the end with the nut and not the end with the bolt (if that makes sense?)

If its loctite -

A) your mechanic is a clown and

B) it should still crack under that pressure......

There is no way for the bolt to bend in that tube tho which is why its weird that its so stuck... Make sure you have a spare nut and bolt good to go?

Was swinging on both sides. I couldn't even turn the bolt. It was bullshit stuck.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
