JustinP
The little hook shaped gearbox breather pipe, what does it bolt to?! I'm putting everything back together and can't remember where it went! GTR_JOEY
Should have a bracket attached to it and bolts into the top right hand side bell housing bolt Wrong section too Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412477-a-very-quick-question-about-the-gearbox-breather-thing/#findComment-6597944 Share on other sites
JustinP
Shiiiit. It bolts on right at the top of the gearbox. I wish I had of bolted that on before putting the motor / gearbox back in the car. I will have to find somewhere else to install it. JonnoHR31
1 of the top gearbox bolts, can't remember what side but it'll be whatever side it reaches. It sits between the bolt head and the gearbox, like a washer. EDIT: Beaten to it. GTR_JOEY
If you lower the gear box by unbolting the mounts there should be enough room to get your hand in there Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/412477-a-very-quick-question-about-the-gearbox-breather-thing/#findComment-6597948 Share on other sites

JustinP
Yep, that's now the plan I need to vent the fuel vapour line anyway as the charcoal canister is now gone, I will run both lines up together. Pezhead
Thanks for the info guys. Was looking at mine last night trying to figure this out. Also didn't realise it went at the top of the belhousing, which was done back up and now on the motor mounts. Doh! Cable ties to the rescue!
