Hey Guys

So I installed coilovers and lowered my car and because of this now have negative camber. I slide all over the place in the wet to the point of which I avoid driving if it rains.

Im replacing my tyres as well but was told that the major reason Im spinning out in the wet at such low speeds is because of the fact that the area of contact of the tyre as reduced dramatically due to camber..which seems to make sense as this only sarted happening once I got coilovers.

I was told to buy camber arms by my mechanic to straighten the wheels up. I was then told by another mechanic that cambers arms arent the only things needed , I need toe arms & traction arms (apparently I need all 3 parts for the lower control arm).

Problem :

I slide all over the place in the wet. Im buying tyres. Ive already purchased camber arms

Questions :

- Is this true , will camber arms be sufficient or will I need the other two parts of the lower control arms as well?

- What are the actual names of these parts?(already purchased camber arms)

- Whats the approximate price I would expect to pay to install camber arms and alignment?

- Should I purchase the tyres first or fit the camber arms and everythig else , which would made more of a differece in allowing my car to hold on to the wet.

- Does the camber I have make SUCH a difference to losing control in the wet...it doesnt seem that excessive to me

Current stance of tyres :

Thanks in advance for any help.

DId you get a wheel alignment after you put the coilovers on? you may have enough adjustment in the stock arms (only about 5mm I think) to remove the camber. I only have camber arms on the rear of my car (R32 I believe the rear subframe on a 33 is similar), When you reduce the camber with the arms, the wheels tow out at the rear. There is enough adjustment in the stock tie rods to remove this.

I'm only talking about the rear of the car. Don't know about the front.
