Just had my V up-rev tuned, 227.3 rwhp (169 rwkw) before tune 245.1 rwhp (183 rwkw) after. Pulls alot harder especially mid range, revs to 7000rpm and still has more go but a bit cautious to go any further. The up-rev tune was done by PZP in Perth. $550

So worth it hey. Couldnt believe the improvement in torque and response.

i notice it most in mid range, from 80k's up it seems to just get stronger. 2nd gear 110km/h @7000rpm and still had some stick....but was cautious to go any harder. Fully recommend for any one interested in squeezing all they can from a N/A engine

Hey Gerard, what mods have you got?

Hey xj265 Z tube, K&N high flow filter in stock air box, MD 5/16 plennum spacer, throttle body spacer, Y pipe stock cat back, transgo shift kit, Lovells springs, Kinetix full camber/traction kit and now Up-rev tune :D

Thats complicated! First run was 166rwkw without a tune.

My ECU didn't seem to like Uprev; it had a Master rom version they hadn't seen before so its with Uprev to get it sorted.

Hopefully will be sorted before the new year :)

I'm stoked! This is with the cheap and nasty compliance air filter and cats (that are mismatched).

Mods to come: replace awful y-pipe/cats, new air filter.

Current mods: Motodyne 5/16 spacer, Rev up air box, stillen z-tube, JIC Magic Spartan DE Catback, chinese y-pipe

    • End game is to: - Remove all the slop from old worn parts - Adjust setup so that the wheels actually fit and the car is drivable (currently it is not because of the extreme rubbing on the guards).   Progress over the last couple of days, removed the rear hubs! Next steps: - Buy bushings - Replace bushings/bearings on hub - Reinstall

    • A few random issues have popped up since my last update. My WMI pressure sensor failed within about 10 minutes of it seeing liquid. It was a 20$ China special, so I'm not surprised. My name brand replacement should arrive today.  My power steering assist also decided to crap out last weekend. The usual, works for about 60 seconds after starting the car then I lose it. I dusted off my old copy of NDS and connected to the HICAS ECU. Code 4 for assist solenoid.... I tested the solenoid and it's fine.  I knew the day where my HICAS ecu would crap out would come, and I welcome it. It was the last HICAS part on the car that is now in the bin. I've ordered an SSR and I will control the power steering solenoid with my Haltech ecu. It will be nice to have proper speed referenced assist again after all these years.
