Grinding Noise On Start Up

K well like it says, I get a grinding noise on sta

rt up sound gear box related and noise comes from that general area, it sounds like spinning metal but goes away after bout a second our two, and won't happen again in the same day no matter how many stop and starts it gets any ideas would be good.

Yeah I thought that just because of where the sound was and what it actually sounded like, do you know why its making that sound besides it obviously being warn out

or a bad throwout bearing. mine growls a little to start off with

Starter will be full of clutch dust which would have dried up the bushes and drive bearing
