hi guys doing a rb30 bottom end pistons the works to have a strong build for high hp -

what sort of hp with the crank take?

All comes down to the machining, balancing and assembly - Get it wrong, no crank will last.

crank handles more than the block,

My RB30 crank bent 20thou and twisted 40thou. Making 670awhp. Safe numbers and tune but >1700kg car with 4 265 semi slicks doing 2step launches at a drag strip, made the crank the weak link.
