Air filter Adaptor

Hey guys,

Just got a quick question, I bought a pod filter for my s14 last night, and I know it just doesnt fit on, there needs an adaptor in place. Excuse my being a tight ass, but I cant justify paying $40.00 for a peice of metal/plastic that just bolts on to form an adaptor.

I dont have a welder, Or else I would have made one with a piece of piping and metal plate. Has anyone made one, if so how, and what did you use. I was at bunnings for about an hour looking for a possible idea...Havnt realy come up with anything yet.

Its really gettig to me cuase I can usually think of something pretty quick and make it quite easily.
