Staged_rs4
Hi All, I have an R33 (im assuming) gearbox, for which im looking to upgrade the slave cylinder. I have my eye on an upgraded 13/16 Nismo item on eBay. Only drama is the seller either doesnt speak english or doesnt give a crap, coz he cant tell me which variant i should buy. Could someone have a look at my box pic, and the eGay link and have a crack at which variant i need? It's a 2WD gearbox with push clutch. The seller claims both twin hole cylinders are 32mm apart. If you're wondering why i dont just match up the old cylinder..the box didnt come with one. Cheers. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321088617476?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/428653-which-clutch-slave-cylinder-for-gtst-box/ Share on other sites
GTSBoy
There is only one on that table that suits an R33 GTST. The RS580. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/428653-which-clutch-slave-cylinder-for-gtst-box/#findComment-6927900 Share on other sites
Dose Pipe Sutututu
You're also able to use a R32 GT-R pre March 1993 Nismo slave too as it's a push type slave. I've done it before with great success on my previous boat Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/428653-which-clutch-slave-cylinder-for-gtst-box/#findComment-6930973 Share on other sites
mungy
A slave is a slave, don't waste your money on a nismo one just use a standard R33 slave and spend the money on a braided clutch line. The Nismo item is larger and you require less pedal effort to depress strong pressure plates. I used an Exedy NC10T pressure plate in my old R33 and it was so god damn heavy, swapped the slave with a larger Nismo item and straight away required less pedal effort. Alternatively, just buy an oversized NPC clutch, pedal feels lighter than a stock R33 clutch.
