Ah great i found a picture of that car too!!! It's nice to see some different kits made for the GTR, coz it's really hard to make a GTR look more modern, unlike the supras they are really easy to dress up!

Here's another two interesting kit dat i found on www.carsales.com.au. I can't believe that R32 are selling like below 25k now! must be the work of the 15 yr rule. grrrrrr

I was under the impression that Autostyle were never going to sell them as a kit seperately. Instead they just fit them to THEIR cars......fullstop.

Ring em and ask though. Might be worth confirming this.

actually Autostyle's GTR started out as a GTSt innit I read something like that in the Autospeed writeup?

anyways the headlights are made by a mob called Infinity in japan. we've contacted them and after a LOT of pleading and begging and international phone calls we've found a set of R32 ones to pull moulds off :P so yeah who wants a copy when we get aaround to makin em?

Infinity have ceased production of this product and absolutely refuse to make any more... bah humbug... was after these things for the last few years, was quite surprised to see em show up on a Autospeed article. And contacting autostyle is futile, they absolutely refuse to make copies for anyone.

since then i've grown less n less fascinated by them twin headlights, esp because they don't comply to ADR's completely lol (if you follow the rule book anyways).

Since then I've started making a prototype headlight that should have a clear glass cover (no diffuse) and still maintain twin projector style lights AND a highbeam.

Wow the pic is sooooo cool!!! Thanks a lot for da pic funky monkey. I think this kit really makes the R32 shine. But i can't believe it's so hard to get it! so u guys actually went so much trouble getting a set?

Also u're in mill park? geez i'm like in heidelberg. What car u drive?

I like the autostyle head light coz it reminds me of the R34 lits a bit, more rectangular shapped instead of the roundish shape. and also the colour really matches nicely. sad that's its not legal if u say so

the R33's are pretty much like that already behind the perspex, what is this about the ADR's in regards to the twin lights?

the infinty headlights (can we not call em autostyle headlights please! :P) are pretty tacky if you ask me, and they arent' too expensive... i looked att he way the bulbs were placed and I was like... eww.. they look pretty bad close up.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
