I just bought some new bonnet stops for my r34

But I'm not sure how they fit and they seem different to the existing ones. Can anyone help me out on this?

You have to twist / unscrew the old ones out and the screw / twist the new ones in as the spiralish groove around it is a thread.

And how much did these set you back please?

I could use some newies myself.

The old one goes narrower in the middle and wouldn't twist out had to pull it out and the new one doesn't seem to want to screw in it just wants to tear

Try slapping some lube on it and screw it again. LOL

You might have to get it started on a bit of an angle to get the thread to bite, but the internal diameter of the Rubber should fit the hole. seriously, try lube.

Did you have to order them in?

Luckily he'd ordered them in for someone else but they didn't collect. Off topic do you have a photo of how 18x9 +20 sits on the front of your 34?

Rob - out at Prestige all day to day stripping gear out of the GTR's engine bay ready for painting.

Seriously, when I go back I'll grab you a pair of the bonnet stoppers mate.

There exactly the same as the ones in the top pic.
