R34 Bonnet Stops

I just bought some new bonnet stops for my r34

But I'm not sure how they fit and they seem different to the existing ones. Can anyone help me out on this?

You have to twist / unscrew the old ones out and the screw / twist the new ones in as the spiralish groove around it is a thread.

And how much did these set you back please?

I could use some newies myself.

They were 19.70 from nissan

The old one goes narrower in the middle and wouldn't twist out had to pull it out and the new one doesn't seem to want to screw in it just wants to tear

Try slapping some lube on it and screw it again. LOL

You might have to get it started on a bit of an angle to get the thread to bite, but the internal diameter of the Rubber should fit the hole. seriously, try lube.

Luckily he'd ordered them in for someone else but they didn't collect. Off topic do you have a photo of how 18x9 +20 sits on the front of your 34?

They do just twist in got a nice flush bonnet now

Didn't even use lube. They just screw in, I'd just gone full retard when I first looked at them

I bought GU patrol genuine Nissan one's from ebay. They work a treat too

No more old hard crappy rubber stops.
