afternoon all

Haha probably!

I other news I managed to swap the r33 exhaust I had for a r32 gtr exhaust that actually has a mid muffler in it. I don't have to mess around moving hangers this way. Quieter unicorn here I come!

good to hear, so I guess you never got around to seeing how easily it would fit?

Looking at new shells, should I stick with r chassis is or look at s chassis

glad your Okay man. shit to hear about the car though.

Yeah I will stick with 33

Found a new shell getting it thursday

Hey mate.

The shape was right but it would have required moving hangers. I was able to swap for a HKS hiper which I had on my blue r32. So it was easier and was the exhaust I was actually after!

Looks like it takes a while for you to awaken the beast ;)

hahaha just a bit. This is what happens when people want to do rolling starts at 55-60kmph. To slow for 2nd but too quick for 1st

Here is one against a silver 33GTR, Spoke with the guy after and it ran a 10.56

I want a carbon one though :P

Anyways reshell is planned for the Easter long weekend

Asking the boss tomorrow if I can use the shop

Open invite, anyone wanting to help is allowed to turn up just inbox me. Any one who helps will receive free beer next time I have kesh and we are at a dinner and chat or anywhere beer can be had

    • No requirement for JDM vehicles,  which the 33 is, maroney label only needed in the US market for new cars I believe (Federal law stuff) Google knows all
    • Hopefully you can just unbolt them, thank them for their service, then bin them and not replace them Apparently the sensors like to set them off with only minor impacts at low speed It looks like they do a delete kit for some of these, but, it is costly
    • I hope it's actually possible. This is a write off in insurance world.
    • Yup. 2-way with shallow ramp angles. Still works.
    • That was the first session so not a lot to take from the day. It was low 20s ambient and the coolant had got to 110 (and obviously had some pressure!) so that still needs to be addressed. I haven't downloaded the data yet but will. I had refilled the auto trans with Redline DT6 because it claimed the best viscosity I could find at 100o. It wasn't really long enough to get a good feel for that; while the trans got to 100o in the session it still wasn't shifting crisply as I hoped. I think I'll try a few more sessions before judging. No steering motor overheat but I'd hope not in only 1 session! But finally the suspension; it was night and day over the standard stuff and the car was a couple of seconds quicker on the same crappy tyres, which is a huge difference. I'll stick with that and get some sway bars and a mechanical diff sorted too and see how that all goes together
