Mugabetown - Whoretownin' At It's Worst.

Most of the cars with big numbers that every one likes to see spend all their time doing just that, making big numbers on a dyno in a shed. Any place else they are shit to drive. To borrow your phrase, woopy do.

Im sure its possible to make a very streetable big HP car thats not an auto

Personally mine for 588rwhp is extremely streetable in my opinion. I know its not huge power. But still carries a single plate clutch which helps with drive-ability. Im sure if it had a twin or triple plate clutch it would be a harder task to drive daily

Again its all personal preference

800hp is still 800hp when that beast wakes up it'd knock the earth off it's rotation, rajab I hate this "responsive" "street friendly" crap

Get yo own phrase straw man lol

For someone I know to be smart you do a great job of sounding retarded :P. In any other situation than a drag race a 800hp "beast" won't know which way a street friendly car went!

Sometimes i wonder how responsive you can an 800hp setup.

Like i think mine is responsive [in perspective] for 600hp. Full boost at 4500prm. I wonder if i concentrated on bringing that on earlier just how it would fair...

Hell should have just stroked it

Put it on NOS! ;)

500 to 600hp is probably the sweet spot. It's fast but can be reasonably tractable. Above that is when it becomes increasingly difficult

Thank you, it's a skill I've perfected. "Smart" people get judged where "dumb" people are left to their own little games :)

This is assuming there is another situation other than a drag race? :P

Put in an auto and fix ALL the issues ...

It also should take into account what other handling mods etc are in the car.

Like a front diff...

Yeah, 6466 sounds a little big scott, but i'll be interested in seeing what your final figures end up at. (yes, i know you're a way off, but i'm a way off changing my setup aswell, i'm just researching).

with these precision turbos response can be pretty damn good these days.

Stroked engine will always help and we are already seeing many cars being setup that way and delivering astonishing results (power and response and tones a torque)

Your only issue Scottie is traction but those MT 275's will help ;)

P.S. I'm a mountain boy

I really want to build a 2.8 and throw on some -5s. Would be an amazing drive!

    • I've searched fairly extensively among Japanese websites but found nothing really like those skirts in your photo. The closest I got was Origin Labo side skirts however they look more 'complete' in that they have a finishing piece or tab at the rear of the skirt so it blends into the bodywork, unlike the one in your pic. For that reason I'd say the skirts in your pic could be adapted from another car and they didn't include that tab piece, or those skirts aren't copied from an existing skirt but an original design. Sorry I can't help out in regard to ID'ing/sourcing them
    • Wonder if JB Weld sponsored the event lol
    • There's a big difference between a car built with millions of dollars in R&D, and someone like yourself taking a normal sporty road car, and making it 5 times more powerful. At the same time, get a modern sports car, and you can turn them up towards the 1000hp mark a lot easier too. Also, give that Lambo another 20 odd runs, and chances are it too may break something.
    • There isn’t really a cheap upgrade here. If someone made a decent, bolt in 6 speed that holds some grunt, it would do very well. The 5 speeds suck. You can put a - OSG 5 speed gear set into it. Ratios are tall so it zaps the “zing” out of it. Had one, busted it. - PPG 5 speed gear set synchro or dog’s. Ratios are even taller. - An overpriced Getrag. Nice to drive, expensive to source now. - A sequential of some sort. Expensive, very expensive. How many times do you pop a 5 speed before you throw the toys out of the cot?
    • Yes, fair call. I don't have any special love for super/hyper cars but it was impressive to watch the Lambo line up against successive skylines without any problem at all.
