So it is fair to say that the Evos are a force to reckon with at sprints?

Can't wait to get some track experience under my belt

Yes, yes they are. At super lap they make up the pointy end of the field every year. It all comes down to the fact that compared to a GTR they are light.

To be fair, the stock suspension setup with coilovers and a wheel alignment is still pretty decent.

Disagree. You can't get the camber required to be decent.

good ol power to weight

Need to make the Ant-Eater lighter

Nick and I arrived kinda late in the day but it was good to meet a few of you guys and I had a ball with Mike taking me for a few laps in the passenger sesh at the end of the day, thanks again for that mate. Hopefully once I sort out my lack of a suitable car I'll be able to participate in these events in the near future. So if you guys know of or see any clean s2 r33s for sale let me know :)

    • No requirement for JDM vehicles,  which the 33 is, maroney label only needed in the US market for new cars I believe (Federal law stuff) Google knows all
    • Hopefully you can just unbolt them, thank them for their service, then bin them and not replace them Apparently the sensors like to set them off with only minor impacts at low speed It looks like they do a delete kit for some of these, but, it is costly
    • I hope it's actually possible. This is a write off in insurance world.
    • Yup. 2-way with shallow ramp angles. Still works.
    • That was the first session so not a lot to take from the day. It was low 20s ambient and the coolant had got to 110 (and obviously had some pressure!) so that still needs to be addressed. I haven't downloaded the data yet but will. I had refilled the auto trans with Redline DT6 because it claimed the best viscosity I could find at 100o. It wasn't really long enough to get a good feel for that; while the trans got to 100o in the session it still wasn't shifting crisply as I hoped. I think I'll try a few more sessions before judging. No steering motor overheat but I'd hope not in only 1 session! But finally the suspension; it was night and day over the standard stuff and the car was a couple of seconds quicker on the same crappy tyres, which is a huge difference. I'll stick with that and get some sway bars and a mechanical diff sorted too and see how that all goes together
