How I wish I could have that sort of money to pour into a car :(

TBH Matty they are an insane waste of cash. That motor and fuel system on that car was circa 55k. best way to do it...save up for a house deposit and factor a really nice gtr that someone has already built up into the loan price.

Fellows - it's the start of school holiday as term 2 finished for most (private) schools yesterday and think parents have also taken time off

Traffic was a breeze for me this morning compared to most other days

So they have released the inmates...apocalyptic

I checked on that Ants but shcool holidays for state schools at least don't start until after next week.

I didn't realise private schools were a week and a day earlier :S. That's bizzare. Oh well, hopefully it means 3 weeks of good traffic :)

Yup. Private schools have more time off than public schools - so you pay an arm and a leg for your child to go to private school but they don't stay in school as much as public schoolers do - go figure

Maaan I wish, not that I ever hit traffic but business as usual here despite wishing it was already Saturday!

My solution to this is not have kids to have to put through private school... I went to a VERY public school and I turned out surprisingly not as bad as I could have!

My mum also said her work is unusually dead today, only she lives in Canberra... Pretty sure there is something the rest of us have missed...

I always thought the same thing but I've learnt being in any kind of professional type job the private school kiddies have a major advantage based on who they went to school with and who's parents they know lol.

Unfortunate but true, if I ever have kids they'd end up in a private school.

I can vouch for ^ this

It was my private schooling that made me obtain my current job - not just qualifactions or experience counted

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
