It happened all so quick, but i officially became a skyline owner for the first time today. Its a 97 r33 gts-4 manual. When i bought it, it had like no fuel in it, decided to put $50 worth of 98 octane fuel in it, im shocked it got it around 85% full! Very excellent for a 6cyl. So i took it today for my first drive, it was AMAZING, the handling was incredible, i dont think ive ever drove a car with such incredible handling. It has power, i was in 4th gear doing around 40kph, it didnt take very much to get to 80, this thing has torque! One thing i do dislike about it though is the short 1st gear, to move off at lights and change to second you pretty much have to take the car to around 4000rpm then change gear, which does make the car drink abit more.

Ok so i dont want to say how much i paid for it, its too dark at the moment to take any pics, but the car is a very nice silver colour, no scratches or dints or anything on it, the paint is in better condition then my mums 2011 honda accord euro! It has 158xxkm the way it drives i honestly think the km are legit. came with roadworthy and few months rego!

Sorry i dont have any pics, again its dark, ill upload some tomorrow.

How much do you think i paid for it

how much could i probably get for it if i were to sell it going off the details ive given (not selling it, i love this car to death honestly)

I am so happy to have this car, i love it to death! Pics coming soon.

Ok so what i intend to do to the car, firstly i intend to service it just incase lol. Next i intend to lower it, it is so high up it really needs lowering, i got quoted $690 to lower it to the legal height, is that a good deal? I intend to put in my sound system that i have in my other car. Also might change the rims, not a big fan of the ones currently on it lol. Thats all im planning on doing short term, but im pretty sure ill want to do other stuff to it, as we all do lol.

Ill take more pics when i wash and polish the car, hopefully that is soon!

Also, try and guess what car is parked next to it =p

Car looks great! Welcome to SAU. What's with the game to guess the car next to it? Thought you were here for that Nissan not Toyota. Otherwise great job on the buy! How is the interior? There's two major things I look for when purchasing a car that makes or breaks the deal. Interior and body. Couldn't care less if the engine ran. It could be rebuilt. Trying to find a small screw cover for a grab handle for a car almost 20 years old.... good luck. Engine bay clean?

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
