For Sale: $22k (Sydney)

image001.jpg

My car is up for sale. I bought this through a local dealer in 2002 for $27k as a custom import which had an auction grade of 4.

It was stock apart from GTT rims, pioneer cd/md head unit, Apexi air filter, HKS exhaust, and turbo timer.

I started modifying the car after I finished Uni last year and have recently finished it. History of modifications.

Mods:

Ø Front mount intercooler.

Ø HKS 2530 ball bearing turbo with braided lines (put on about a month or two ago – began with a standard turbo, got that high flowed, now it has the HKS turbo).

Ø Adjustable cam gear Adjustable fuel regulator 600hp fuel pump.

Ø Apexi boost gauge in chrome bezel.

Ø Apexi full 3” exhaust from turbo back.

Ø Apexi Power FC + controller (including box, manual, etc.)

Ø Apexi air filter (metal mesh type)

Ø Greddy turbo timer.

Ø Greddy Profec B electronic boost controller (black) - includes original box, instructions, etc.

Ø Nismo clear side indicators (including box)

Ø Nismo gear knob (alloy one with “NISMO” indented down the side).

Ø Nismo rear strut brace.

Ø Nismo mats (front and rear)

Ø Razo and Momo pedals

Ø Replaced timing belt - quite an expensive procedure unfortunately.

Ø Climate control has been serviced.

Ø Heavy duty clutch - stiffer than standard but is absolutely fine for city driving.

Ø Heavy duty battery.

Ø Carbon fibre wipers.

Ø Carbon fibre bonnet with bonnet pins.

Ø Blitz BOV with custom mount.

Ø Nolathane castor rod bushes.

Ø Alarm (wont say what it is, just in case).

Ø R34 GTT rims.

Ø Z32AFM - The car had too much power for the standard air flow meter.

Ø Tinted windows – legal darkness.

Ø Brand new Green Stuff high performance brake pads.

Ø JVC LH2000 CD/Tuner/MP3 headunit (3D dot matrix screen version).

Ø Pioneer speakers in the parcel shelf which have never been hooked up. Standard front speakers but have Sony components if the deal needs to be sweetened.

Included with the purchase:

Ø Original stock intercooler.

Ø Original ECU.

Ø Original Air Flow meter.

Ø Original orange side indicators.

Ø Original bonnet – mint condition.

Ø Apexi boost gauge mount, which I replaced for a chrome item.

how much power is the car pumping? (im not after extreme power, first time rear wheel driver)

which suburb in syd?(PM me if u prefer privacy)

Power:

270hp_AFR.gif

270rwhp on high boost after the 4hour tune, 256rwhp on low boost - not extreme at all. If you want more power boost it above 1bar.

Im on the Northern Beaches in Sydney.

No log books, they didnt come with the car. I've kept most records, boxes, parts etc.

I'm at work and cant use the internet until I get home late tonight.

Someone looked at the car during my lunch break. If anyone wants to see the car on the weekend let me know as this guy is happy with the car but wants to do a compression test on the motor just to be sure.

I can respond to emails during today at: [email protected]

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
